Your visit

What to expect on your tour

Here's what a visit to Beacon Montessori looks like, so you know what to plan for.

  • How long it takes

Plan for about 30–45 minutes. Tours are on weekday mornings, when the classrooms are at their busiest and you can see a normal day in progress.

  • Who you'll meet

A member of our team walks you through the school, shows you the classrooms, and answers your questions about the program, ages, and admissions.

  • What you'll see

The prepared Montessori classrooms with children at work, the materials, the outdoor space, and how a day is structured for your child's age group.

  • Bringing your child

You're welcome to bring your child. Many families find it helpful to see how their child responds to the environment.

  • No pressure

A tour is a chance to look around and decide if Beacon feels right. There's no obligation to enroll.

After your visit

If Beacon feels like a fit, we'll walk you through applying and next steps. Curious how new children settle in? Our head of school has written about the first days of school. Questions before your visit? Call (781) 400-0206 or email [email protected].
