Lydia Hinckley holds a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from American University and brings eight years of experience as a camp counselor, STEM counselor, and afterschool teacher. Most recently, she led activities for children ages 3–7 at a school in Washington, DC, and now channels that STEM enthusiasm into Beacon’s afternoon program. When she isn’t teaching, Lydia can be found baking, crocheting, hiking, or enjoying time with friends and family.
